We just returned from five wonderful days at this hotel. Some friends recommended it to us and it was absolutely the right choice — especially if you're looking to escape the summer chaos. Truly a unique experience. Beautiful, peaceful, different, with lovely little corners where you can enjoy stunning views or simply have a drink in the patio or by the pool. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean (we stayed in a duplex... next time we’ll try the tower, which looks amazing!). We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant: the best meal of our five days! The service is something rare these days — incredibly warm and familiar, the kind of people who have dedicated their whole lives to hospitality and who genuinely pamper you. The little village of Garachico is adorable, far away from the tourist buzz in the south (but still easily reachable by car). In short... we loved it, and we’re already checking when we can sneak away again! Highly recommended, truly.

Precioso, tranquilo, diferente, con rincones estupendos para disfrutar de unas vistas increíbles o simplemente tomar algo en el patio o alrededor de la piscina. La habitación super amplia, muy bonita y super limpia (nosotros cogimos un duplex...la próxima vez intentaremos la torre que es espectacular!). Cenamos también una noche en su restaurante: la mejor cena de los 5 días! El trato es de los que ya no hay, super cercano, familiar, de gente que se ha dedicado toda la vida a esto y que te mima de verdad. El pueblito donde está, Garachico, es una monada, lejos de todo el ruido turístico del sur (aunque se puede llegar allí sin problemas en coche). Vamos...que nos ha encantado y ya estamos buscando a ver cuando nos podemos escapar otra vez! Super recomendable, la verdad.

We went as a couple for a weekend getaway. An exceptional hotel. Quiet and peaceful, with comfortable rooms just steps from the sea and its natural pools. The breakfast buffet was exquisite, with fresh, high-quality products served by the pool. The staff was always attentive and friendly, doing their best to ensure we were satisfied. They truly show what great service and guest care should be. Honestly, highly recommended.

We had dinner here last weekend. The food was wonderful (ceviche, vegetables, tuna, homemade sorbets), but above all, we want to highlight the service from the waiter (a young guy with glasses — didn’t catch his name). He was incredibly kind and had expert knowledge of the area and the wines. Thank you so much for making the evening so pleasant!

We chose this beautiful, iconic place — a gem of traditional Canarian architecture — to celebrate my grandmother’s 99th birthday in a small, intimate gathering. From the very beginning, Lali, the hotel’s owner, advised us and offered suggestions… and got every single one exactly right! María and the rest of the team followed suit with exquisite attention, making us feel completely at home on such a special occasion.
Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the octopus tentacle — a true work of art, with lime pearls that perfectly complemented the texture and flavor.
We highly recommend spending an evening at this wonderfully kept secret in the north of the island. Congratulations to the whole team!

Desde el primer momento, Lali, propietaria del hotel, nos aconsejo y aporto sugerencias... y acerto de pleno en todas y cada una de ellas!!! María y el resto del personal hicieron lo propio, con una atención exquisita e hicieron q nos sintieramos como en casa en una ocasión especial. Todos los platos que probamos estaban exquisitos, en especial, el rejo de pulpo... que fue una obra de arte con las esferificaciones de lima a juego con los tentáculos... Altamente recomendable pasar una velada en este secreto tan bien guardado del Norte de la isla. Enhorabuena a tod@s!

We just returned from 5 wonderful days at this hotel and we’re already thinking of coming back :-). Small, charming, and with the kind of service you rarely find these days. Everything was beautifully cared for and decorated. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully designed (jacuzzi included!). Incredibly peaceful – if you like noise, this is not your place. We truly enjoyed our stay: morning excursions (you can walk to the natural seawater pools for a swim) followed by relaxing afternoons at the hotel. The heated pool is fantastic, the patio perfect for a drink, and the rooftop terrace – with those views! – is simply amazing. You can even ask for food or drinks to be served up there. The staff genuinely pamper you with warm, personalized service. We also had dinner at their restaurant one night... the best meal of our trip. High quality and homemade. Absolutely recommended... we will return!

Acabamos de volver de pasar 5 días en este maravilloso hotel y ya estamos pensando en volver :-). Pequeño, encantador, con un servicio de los que ya no hay. Todo super cuidado y bonito. La habitación era super amplía, limpia y con mucho gusto (jacuzzi incluido!) Super tranquilo, nada de eso de hoteles mega saturados, si te gusta el ruido...este no es tu sitio. Nosotros lo hemos disfrutado un monton, excursiones por la mañana (puedes ir andando a bañarte en el mar en sus piscinas naturales) y luego "relaxing" por la tarde en el hotel: la piscina es genial y está climatizada, el patio ideal para tomarte algo y se salen totalmente las vistas de la terraza de arriba donde puedes pedir que te suban algo de comer o bebida. La gente que trabaja allí te mima de verdad, es un trato super cercano y personalizado. Cenamos también en su restaurante una noche...la mejor cena de los cinco días, calidad y casero. Totalmente recomendable...para repetir!

Este pequeño hotelito enclavado en la turística localidad tinerfeña de Garachico es el paraíso del silencio, de la tranquilidad, del buen dormir, del desayuno rico, de la belleza de su arquitectura, de la decoración interior cuidada … y de tantas cosas. Ocupa una hermosa villa del s. XVIII de singular belleza, con dos pequeños patios porticados; uno de ellos dispone de una pequeña piscina al aire libre, excavada sobre lava volcánica, con un solarium perfecto para tomar el sol, leer, conversar o meditar, en una paz y tranquilidad que no parece tener fin. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas; decoradas con una mezcla perfecta entre el clasicismo del edificio y la vanguardia de nuestro tiempo; con un colchón y una almohada de confort infinito; con unos muebles preciosos adaptados perfectamente al enclave y que dotan a todo el espacio de una armonía, de una serenidad y de una sensación de calma y tranquilidad que en estos tiempos son de agradecer. Y qué decir del personal. Se esmeran en un trato individualizado y altamente profesional; cercanos pero no pegajosos; y con la calidez de trato seña de identidad de las gentes de las islas Canarias. Sin duda un paraíso y todo un lujo para que el que se lo pueda permitir. Lo aconsejo vivamente.

A total surprise. The hospitality, the huge rooms, the super comfortable bed, the large bathroom, the tastefully designed facilities — everything was wonderful. I felt as if I were in Asia; those who’ve been will understand. A warm, personal, family-like atmosphere, friendly and genuine, with no pretensions — just honest quality. The website photos match reality — or maybe reality is even better. The surrounding environment gave such peace, it's hard to believe a place like this still exists. Breakfast was very good and just right. The rooftop area is great, with spectacular views, and the pool area is also excellent. Oh, and the touch of fresh flowers? Incredible. Everything was fantastic. If I return to Tenerife, I’ll definitely stay here again. If you're looking for peace and quiet, spend a few days here. Thank you.

A relaxing getaway in a wonderful place, with consistently warm and attentive service from all the staff. They’ve made some improvements over the past few years that have turned out beautifully, making this great hotel even better. We’re especially grateful for the care we’ve always received from Dominique, Lucy, and Desy, and this time we also met another valuable team member in my opinion — Dario — who treated us excellently and made us feel very much at home. Of course, we also want to thank the housekeeping team, the lady at the breakfast buffet, and all the staff whose names I forget, as they always go out of their way for guests. We happened to be there during the *Romería Chica*, and the atmosphere was spectacular. Garachico is a magnificent place — one of the island’s gems — and Hotel San Roque is a true oasis where you can disconnect from the stress of everyday life.

Han hecho algunas mejoras en los últimos años que han quedado muy bien y hacen este gran Hotel aún mejor. Agradecer el trato que nos ha dado siempre Dominique, Lucy, Desy, y en esta ocasión conocimos otro gran activo en mi opinión llamado Dario ( nos trato de forma excelente y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos). Porsupuesto, felicitar al personal de Pisos, a la chica del Buffet de desayunos y a todo el personal que me dejo, ya que siempre se desviven por el cliente. Coincidimos con la Romeria chica, y había un ambiente espectacular. Garachico es un sitio magnífico, de lo mejor de la isla y el hotel San Roque un oasis donde poder desconectar del estrés de la vida diaria.

Without a doubt, among the limited accommodation options in Garachico, this is the best choice. A place full of charm and very well maintained, with excellent cleanliness, peaceful and ideal for relaxing and spending a few days. The bed was quite comfortable and the breakfast was just right, with fresh orange juice and good coffee. Dinner had many quality touches and pleasantly surprised us. Without a doubt, we would return if we come back to this area...!!
